Community Outreach

When each one of us was a kid, we would scribble, finger paint, color, draw, and play with legos, and playdough. Unfortunately for many of us, we one day stopped creating all together. We were all born an artist, but somewhere along the way, we thought our art was not good enough. It is my mission to prove that every one of us is an artist and always has been. 

This project is about planting creative seeds into the community to inspire more artists to create again. Art is a timeless childlike form of expression and is known to be therapeutic. This project will bring out our inner child, provide therapeutic tools, and strengthen the right hemisphere of participants' brains. 

This collection is called "Art In Motion" because I am putting the creative process into motion all over Colorado to plant seeds of creativity. Not only am I putting ideas in motion, but the art created will be transformed into wearable 3D art pieces. Most 2D art is hung up on a wall, and most 3D art is displayed in a gallery on a pedestal. Art In Motion is all about challenging the typical standards and ideas of 2D, 3D, and fashion art. I will be making my materials misbehave and redefining the limits of the art world. Together, as a community, we will put art into motion and create the unimaginable.
